Do you prefer blondies or brownies? Funny. They should be delicious
Blondies? Like Brownies but with white chocolate and pecans for a bit of texture. I LOVE white chocolate. I also love Pecans, coincidentally. So imagine my dismay when for the second time this recipe didn’t quite work. Well when I say it didn’t work, I don’t mean I ended up with a runny mess that wouldn’t bake solid or anything burnt to a crisp, they were just a bit . . . blah and more importantly looked NOTHING like the photo in the book. They were still edible, just a tad dry and not in the slightest bit gooey like a good Brownie should be.
The photograph in the booked showed an altogether more airy structure and an even colour all the way through, no browning on top, which as you can see from the photos mine did have, they were also quite dense and dry. I followed the recipe to the letter, which…
